Trying to go local

I have been trying to get my computer set up to allow me to develop locally. I use XAMPP for my computer (Windows XP). You could use a WAMP or a MAMP package instead. I have now installed WordPress and all my themes and some of the plugins I use here. But it is a pain in the butt to get all of my data from my blog right now.

I have customized my login page. I seriously encourage you to register for this site as of you don’t have to have to type in your info into the form every time your comment! Also get a Gravatar!
